Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Graham and I have decided to run the British 10k in London on 11th July to help raise much needed funds for the Batten Disease Family Association. This is the charity that has supported us since Sacha was diagnosed in 2005 with this awful life-limiting and degenerative disease. If it were not for the BDFA I don't know how we would have got through the darkest days and those yet to come. It is our way of saying thank you and really is the very least we could do. The BDFA has been striving for 10 years to find a cure for this illness - which we know is a long way off. They need as much support as we can give so that other families in the future do not have to ensure what we have gone through. Please dig deep and help as much as you can. Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
