When I was first told I had cancer, back in 2001, as it is for everyone, the shock was huge but after relatively minor surgery and radiotherapy, I needed only medication to pretty well get back to normal.

However, in 2012, I got secondary and that's when I thought it was all over. I had chemo for the first time and I was started on a regimen of regular MRI scans at PSSC . 

Of course the team who manage my condition is broad but it's the advance warning provided by the imaging team at PSSC which allows my treatment path to be adjusted as required.

I am doing this walk to thank PSSC for the skill and care they have always afforded me.
