Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My DAD was a family man and had finally retired from working life.  He was looking forward to doing the things he enjoyed more, such as rambling however this was not meant to be.

What happened next was a whirlwind.  My DAD was diagnosed with cancer and within a short period of time, was taken from us.  

During his illness, he stayed at St Benedict's Hospice.  Everyone including my DAD was a bit apprehensive however the staff made us feel at ease.   My mam stayed with him everyday and night during his illness and this was great as my DAD would always have someone with him. We were all made to feel like it was our home and the rest of the family could visit at anytime.  

The staff at St Benedict's, provided outstanding care and support for my DAD and made his life comfortable until the end.  This is why I want to raise money for them to say Thank You for looking after all of us. 

It will be 2 years in October since my DAD passed away and there is not a day that goes by, that we don't think of him.

We all miss him and always will xx
