I am doing the Great North Swim on Sunday 15th June 2014 to raise funds for The Bendrigg Trust which is our local residential outdoor activities centre for disabled and disadvantaged people. Do take a look at their website www.bendrigg.org.uk to see the marvellous work they do.

The Great North Swim is a one-mile challenge open-water swim in Windermere in the Lake District and there are expected to be 10,000 people taking part over three days. Who knows, I may enter the two mile next year.  www.greatswim.org/Events/great-north-swim
