Over 20 years ago my Grandad was sadly diagnosed with and died from Motor Neurone Disease. This opened my eyes to what a horrendous illness it is and began a connection with the MND Scotland charity. Seeing my granddad's rapid decline from MND as well as the impact this has had on those around him taught me to never take anything for granted. 

So bearing in mind that there's no time like the present, I have decided to join the MND Scotland team and trek to Machu Picchu in Peru. I'm hoping this challenge will be an experience like no other that will raise as much money as possible for the charity. 

As well as funding research that will hopefully one day find a cure for MND, the charity provides a fantastic range of services for everyone who is affected by MND in Scotland.
