Story
So many of us have been touched or affected by breast cancer and sadly some of us have lost great friends, sisters and mothers. I wanted to raise money by running the London Marathon (17 years after my last attempt) to support this fantastic charity which provides support and advice to those going through breast cancer, campaigns effectively and also funds and carries out incredible research on treatment.
Every year 55,000 women and 370 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. Your support will ensure that this charity can continue to provide help to those affected as well as continuing to fund world-class research. Breast Cancer Now's ambition is that, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live and be supported to live well.
Your support will spur me on in my training and on the day. Thank you xx
