London Marathon 2014... we got places... woo hoo!!

We both agreed after running a half marathon a few years ago that there was really nothing fun about running that far, let alone twice the distance. How soon you forget - like child birth... i'm told - as just a few years later, here we are!

Despite the initial disappointment of not qualifying for the elite race we are both delighted to be running the marathon and as an added incentive we are doing it for a fantastic charity that means lots to us.

So here we go... months of short shorts, too much lycra, chaffing and the odd run or two.
