Story
I am a committee member for 'response giving', the charitable fundraising arm of Response. It gives financial support to meet the needs of those with enduring mental health concerns either in hospital or in the community within Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. We are unpaid volunteers. We respond quickly to requests for help through the mental health professionals in the wards, teams and other organisations. In the past we have funded a pair of winter boots, washing machines, fridges, cookers and carpet.
This month your donation will buy a cooker, a fridge, a washing machine, some flooring, a radio and a sofa, all essential items for some very vulnerable people.
Recently we have help funded trips to the Oxford Story, Didcot Railway and Beaulieu Motor Museum, Wobern Wildlife and the seaside for vulnerable families, all to enhance their lives.
