Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The idea to do the Rowcroft Hospice Sleep Walk came about after Jess and Lyv (my lovely Brixham work collegues) were one night chatting about their childhoods. Sadly Lyv's dad Michael was diagnosed with terminal cancer when Lyv was young. Despite this Lyv had many happy and positive memories of her final months with her dad largely due to the amazing work of the wonderful people at Rowcroft, where Michael spent his final days. The chance to do something positive and give back to such a wonderful facility was too good an opportunity to miss.
They decided to form a team recruiting their Brixham friends and work colleagues Emily and Annabel, whose gran, Annette Hatch was also fortunate enough to have access to Rowcroft's facilities. Lyv's sister Emily and Annabel's mum, Gillian, also joined what is now known as the Rio Ramblers.
Their aim is to raise as much money as possible for such a great cause and this is the bit where we need your help. Any amount that you can donate will make such a big difference to this Hospice and hopefully help other families to make happy memories in what can be such difficult times. Lyv is proof of what a difference a place like Rowcroft can make; not just to the individual but also their family. Thanks for your time in reading this.
