On behalf of The Avalon Rose Chapel, I was thrilled to facilitate our online Resurrection Rites by donation only with all funds being donated to the charity Womankind Worldwide and their project with Ethiopian partner Siiqqee (Ethiopia being the birthplace of the African Black Goddess who was the precursor to Inanna, Isis, Demeter, Diana, Cybele and eventually the Black Madonna) to further establish women-led cooperatives as a space for women to gain financial independence, new skills and increased confidence and status in the community.

Womankind Worldwide is particularly special to me, not only because of their incredible work transforming the lives of women and girls, but  in 2009 they also kindly provided me with the Women's Rights statistics featured at the front of my historical, witch-burning novel The Serpent's Tale, which seeks to raise awareness around the women's rights issues that are still prevalent in our global society today.

I donated £1250 to this Womankind Worldwide project via The Big Give in December 2020, who doubled the donation to £2500.
