Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page.

We've entered our yacht 'Emily Morgan' into the Eddystone Pursuit for 2013 to raise funds for DDRC Healthcare to support the fantastic work they do using the incredible healing powers of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy.

We need people to help crew the yacht - e-mail me at anna@yachtemilymorgan.com if you are interested and we need people to sponsor us!

Only around a third of patients are divers, the rest are people with wounds that just won't heal and many are diabetics who could be facing amputation if the HBO cannot help to help their wounds. Other patients have had radiation treatment to cure cancer (usually neck, face or pelvic cancers) which has left them with painful tissue damage, which HBO can also help to heal. The individual stories are so moving.

The Research Team are at the forefront of international research into the effective uses of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for a range of conditions. This work is so vital for the future.
