Race completed successfully in spite of driving rain and lashing winds. Everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable time, especially the dedicated supporters who had to stand in the cold for over an hour cheering us on!

BREAKING NEWS: Tony, Simone Royle and Jessica Royle have joined the team!

On 22nd November 2009, the Royle Family will be taking part in the Parkinson's Disease Society 10K run to raise money for the charity. Paul thought that this would be a great way to raise money for the cause that means a lot to all of us. Anna thought it would be hell on earth, having run one previously and sworn never to do so again. Janet has never done a 10K race before so is still under the impression that it will be an enjoyable thing to do. Peter, Janet and Anna are busy getting into shape. Paul's in shape already but will be challenging his best time. For the rest of us, getting around the course at all will be a big achievement.

The one thing that will really give us all a boost and help us through training and through the race itself would be knowing that we are doing it to get the sponsor money to the Parkinson's Disease Society. The higher the total pledged, the more determined and motivated we will be. For this reason we are asking you to please give generously and help the society to continue their vital work.
