Ever since I was little the unjust treatment of others has made me absolutely furious. No one deserves to be judged, persecuted and punished because of their race, gender, sexuality, religion or political convictions. We all take the right to live our lives the way we want to for granted but unfortunately not everyone is as lucky - Amnesty International are fighting for humans ' lives to be protected. 

My life-long passion for Amnesty International's work is probably only matched with my enthusiasm for sports so what better way to combine the two in my very first marathon? I anticipate it to be super hard but nowhere near as hard as all the work Amnesty International has been taken on over the last fifty years.
