Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

2 days, 180 miles, 2,500 riders, 1 iconic city.

This year I've decided to enter the London Revolution 2 day bike ride to raise money for Dream Flight a charity close to the heart of British Airways employees.

The ride is split over 2 days. Day 1 takes riders along 100 miles of scenic back roads North then West from the Isle of Dogs round to Royal Windsor before arriving at our overnight camp and party. Here riders doing the full 2 days will enjoy a cracking night of music, bars, dinner and a few other secret cycling attractions we have up our sleeves before setting off the next morning to ride South and East for another 80 miles before crossing Tower Bridge to finish on Sunday afternoon.

Every October Dreamflight sends a British Airways 747 aircraft with 192 children and their adult escorts to Florida. as you can imagine, the costs are enormous and rising. All of the medical team and escorts volunteer their time but this year the trip will still cost in excess of £650,000 or £3,500 per child.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
