Story

My goodness - you are all so generous. I am well on the way to my goal of £300. Thank you.   I shall have to start training properly now so that I don't let you down. For a start,  I shall run up the stairs at work instead of using the lift.  It's really good to know that my friends are as keen as I am to help defeat Parkinson's  - and I'm looking forward to the lovely walk as well.

Update 30/06/2014:

A huge thank you to all my sponsors for the Seven Sisters Challenge.   Sunday was a lovely day for the walk - although the Forest part was rather humid. But the walk over the Seven Sisters was perfect, although fairly strenuous. Warm sunshine, a light breeze, lovely wild flowers and lots of skylarks singing. And, thanks to your generosity, I have raised £350.00 for Parkinson’s UK.

150 people (and some dogs) took part in the challenge, and raised about £15,000 altogether for this very important cause.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
