The St. Elizabeth Hospice are a local charity who work with those with progressive and terminal illnesses and their families. The help and support that they give ensures that so many people are able to continue to get the most out of life no matter what their circumstances.

My personal reason for supporting this charity is because of the time they have invested with my Godmother, who was diagnosed last year with a brain tumor. Hannah is a close family friend who has always been a part of my life, and although she has a network of loving family and friends around her, the support the Hospice has given has been invaluable.

She is a strong, inspirational woman, and I believe that it is partly because of her strength of mind and fighting spirit that her tumor has, against the odds, shrunk. The work that charities such as the St Elizabeth Hospice do means that people in difficult health situations are able to carry on living their lives and maintain as positive an outlook as possible, and fight back against illness.

Any donations to this cause no matter how much will go far to ensure others in unfortunate situations have access to the support they need.
