Today around three-quarters of children with cancer are successfully treated. In the 1960s it was just a quarter. However, around 300 children a year still lose their lives to the selfish disease- this is too big a number for beings who have lived all too short a life- so Cancer Reasearch's groundbreaking work must continue.
