I’m Ann-Marie and I live in Leicestershire and this is my page of hope. I am doing the cycle 274 miles campaign over August for Brain Tumour Research in memory of my late husband Steve ❤️Steve was an amazing husband, dad and friend to all, who sadly passed away in June 2023 at the age of 53 to a Glioblastoma (aggressive brain tumor) just 4 weeks after diagnosis. All money donated will go directly to help research into brain tumours which kill more children and under 40’s than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to this devastating disease. The average cost of a day of research at one of the centres of excellence is £2740 so please help me raise as much as possible to help others in future and help find treatments/cures for brain tumours so that other families don’t have to suffer. My sons (Zach 18 and Tom 12) may help me out with some of the mileage which is allowed and which would allow them to feel that they can also help with this cause, so please do all you can to help support us team Redfern 🚲
