Story
In June 2015 My lovely wife of 20 years was diagnosed with oral cancer. She was determined to beat it but unfortunately in July 2016 we were told it was terminal and spreading through her neck area. On the 27th August 2016 she passed away unexpectedly. She will be sorely missed by all who came across her professionally through her work at RNIB or through friendship.
As she never had a favorite charity, but after stopping of at St Abbs on our way home from a wedding in Newcastle 3 weeks ago we were shown round the Independent Lifeboat station by a member who told us of their plight after RNLI pulled the plug on this station.
She was impressed with the time taken for this visit and the way that they raised funds to be the best they can that I think this would be a fitting tribute if we can raise some funds for this very good cause.
Let's all pull together and try and with your help raise as much as we can "In Memory of Ann-Marie " and make her proud by just giving, every little helps.
Many thanks.
