The rare beauty of these magnificent lions means they are forcibly removed to be placed in zoos or circuses or worse to be hunted as a "trophy". My daughters Poppy, Jessica and I feel compelled to show with our feet how important it is to protect these sacred lions.

We are taking our lionhearted campaign far and wide across the UK and running all the UK runs in the Great Run Series. I will be starting in April with the Great Ireland Run and finishing in October in Portsmouth with the Great South Run, completing 14 runs and 111miles in total. 

Poppy and Jessica will be completing 4 Junior/mini runs each across the UK. 

My husband Clive, my Granddaughters and other members of our family will also be joining in or supporting us during these runs. Our generations will be running to allow the next generation of white lions to continue to live in the peace they deserve. 

We all feel it is important to let everyone know these animals deserve protection. Please help us to raise the profile of this wonderful charity and as much money as we can so these beautiful animals never have to to become just a memory.
