I am riding the London Prudential 100 miler in memory of my mother who passed away from a stroke. Over a period of 10 years she had multiple strokes which left her partially paralysed, affecting her speech and mobility. It was terribly difficult watching a once vibrant, healthy woman struggle with her disabilities on a daily basis. By raising money for the Stroke Association I hope to help ease the burden of those who have suffered a stroke and the family members caring for them.
