Our lovely Mum passed away on 13th March 2013. Mum had been diagnosed with Alzheimer Dementia in 2008, we managed to support her in being able to live in her own home until she had a fall in August 2012 and was then in and out of hospital before being discharged home in November 2012, where it soon became clear that Mum needed 24 hour care. All the family hoped she would settle in her care home but a change in surroundings and also medication meant, she lost weight suddenly as she stopped eating and drinking. After just a short spell in hospital Mum got Pneumonia. Please support our tribute page in memory of Eleanor Bell, to raise money to help with all the work of the Alzheimer Society, as Alzheimer affects so many people and their families. Thank you, Anita and all the family.
