I'm proud to be running the London Marathon for the third consecutive year in memory of my beautiful daughter Elsie.
Elsie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) when she was just six years old. Sadly she died just nine months later.
Clic Sargent supported Elsie and our family during Elsie's illness and thereafter so I'm delighted to be able to run for Clic this year.
To raise vital funds for Clic this year we are holding a flower sale in memory of Elsie selling cute jam jars of beautiful flowers fresh from the Covent Garden Flower Market.
Elsie loved roses in particular - the vast array of pretty colours and beautiful fragrances so this fundraiser is truly fitting. Beautiful posies in memory of a beautiful little girl xx
When cancer strikes young lives CLIC Sargent helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health.
Today, 11 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC Sargent’s specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. CLIC Sargent will fight tirelessly for them, individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things.
