Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have now run the 'Run to the Beat' Half Marathon on 25th September in a personal best of 1 hour 58mins and 57 secs breaking the 2 hour barrier and the  British 10k on 10th July in a new personal best time of 58mins and 41 secs in aid of a charity called Prostate Action who have the vision of the eventual defeat of prostate cancer through their research programmes.

This charity is personal to me as my Dad has prostate cancer and I would like to do something to help.

Prostate disease affects one in two men during their lifetime. the charity is working to help men and their families beat prostate disease now and in the future. Research and education are at the core of everything they do to beat prostate disease and within each of these we have three main aims.

Prostate Action fund the best international research into prostate disease; promotes collaboration between researchers; shares and promotes the findings of research relating to prostate disease.

The charity educate primary healthcare professionals in prostate disease and its management; provide training grants for urology specialists; and educate and inform the general public about all aspects of prostate disease.
