Anita decided that she wanted to do a challenge and raise money before her 40th as it had been 10 years since she had run the London and New York marathons.  So she ended up booking the National 3 Peaks challenge which coincidently is on David's 40th birthday 22nd Sep 2012.

So instead of going out for a nice meal with friends, David and Anita are hiking the 3 tallest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon) all in 24 hours; with the last hike thru the night.  This equates to 26 miles total horizontal distance but covering 3000 vertical metres and 3 Peaks. So whilst this will not be a relaxing birthday celebration it certainly will be memorable.

Being parents to our gorgeous children Samuel and Alexandra we have a strong empathy to support any charity that deals with the welfare of children. Therefore we have decided to raise money for the NSPCCs Childline.

ChildLine is the UK’s 24-hour helpline for children and young people. Since ChildLine launched in 1986 they have counselled over 2.6 million children who are in distress or danger and offer them the comfort, support and advice they so desperately need.  By donating you will be helping to provide a service like ChildLine for many years to come.
