Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
To celebrate his birthday Andy decided to challenge himself (and me!) to climb the Inca Trail - a four day trek in Peru reaching altitudes of 4200m! We have both been making an effort to get fit for this exciting adventure which starts on the 11th September.
To keep me going I have chosen to raise some much needed cash for Wallace Cancer Care in memory of George Chapman, a family friend who passed away suddenly of cancer in December 2011. In recent months the Chapman family have been an inspiration to me and I hope Andy and I can raise as much money as possible in George's memory.
Wallace Cancer Care provide peaceful and welcoming places where patients and their families can come to relax and find out about how various forms of complementary care can help them to cope with the difficulties of diagnosis, ease some of the side effects of treatment, and enable a confident and healthful return to normal life afterwards.
