I was planning to give myself a challenge during my gap year 2013-2014 by going to Tanzania to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. It was for my personal triumph, but I realised that seeing as it is a HUGE challenge, I could help someone in the process. I have paid for everything myself, from the plane ticket, fees, food and accomodation, but the funds raised here will ALL go to Cancer research. I decided to support Cancer Research because two years ago, my mum's aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer, but only a week before she passed away. She had haboured it all along unknowingly and it had already spread inside her. I feel that by supporting this cause, it could help people to be more aware of it, get diagnosed on time and get treatment before it's spread too far. It's also going to help existin cancer warriors on their fight againat cancer, not to menation help towards research done by CRUK scientists. It's all for a great cause!
