i have just completed my climb of  Kilimanjaro in memory of my papa and uncle Kenny. i am reminded every day by those who are survivors and by those who are facing this battle as i write. For my friend Lorraine who is a over a year free from cancer and Karen who has just gone through that journey with bravery, humour and her never ending care and thoughts for others. She is looking awesome and I cannot wait to have her back at work leading person centred care for NHS Forth Valley. Karen you are amazing and an inspiration.

macmillan cancer support are working hard to meet the needs of those who are touched by cancer, help me raise as much as I can none of us know when we might need them.

By taking on this challenge I wanted to offer my support for this great cause and give a little back to Macmillan who do great work in the community and to patient care across so many health settings.
