Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am very proud to introduce my 9 year old daughter Emily.  Emily is donating her hair to the Little Princesses Trust - a charity that makes wigs for children, both girls and boys, that have lost their hair through illnesses such as cancer and alopecia.

She also wanted to raise money for Arthritis Research, as this is something that has affected our family. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, an autoimmune disease and Emily has seen first hand the debilitating effect this has had on the whole family. Emily hopes that by raising money for Arthritis Research, one day they will find a cure. So she is asking for your help. She would really appreciate you sponsoring her haircut.

Emily has always displayed empathy and compassion far beyond her years and although she already helps me greatly, she also wanted to help others. So, I would be grateful for any donation you can spare, no matter how small, to help Emily help others.

Emily is having her haircut at Strandz Hairdressers in Collier Row on Thursday 21st August 2014.
