This charity is very close to my heart as this is the disease my mum currently has.  Its an awful disease and quite rare, no many people/medical staff are unaware of this disease so please help me raise money to raise awareness and hopefully one day find a cure. 

 

If anyone knows my mum, Josephine, you will know what a beautiful, bubbly, chatty, funny, caring, hardworking, wonderful sister, wife, mother and grandmother she is.  Mum always put others before herself and loved spending time with family and friends, chatting and especially dancing an Old Time Walz and ceili dancing at the Irish Centre. This disease has now left my mum unable to speak, walk, stand, smile, eat  food without it being pureed first, drink fluids without a thickener being added so she does not choke and the basic task of washing and dressing yourself.  Please please please help me and others fund this association to continue their hard work.
