Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday, 26th June 2016 I will be taking part in the 10th annual CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk.
I would like to raise money in memory of my dear friend and wonderful mentor Claire Prosser, who died from a heart condition, aged 54 in December 2014. Tragically in 2007, Claire’s son Tom, sadly passed away in his sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition. The charity Cardiac Risk in the Young, CRY, say that 12 young people a week aged 14-35 die from undiagnosed heart conditions.
Claire was not only fantastic mother to her 2 children, Tom and Ellen, a loving wife to her husband Paul but she was also a wonderful, kind and loving friend. After Tom passed away, Claire worked tirelessly for CRY and although it’s small steps for me, it's a blessing for me to be able to join Paul, Ellen and their family and friends on Sunday.
I have had the honour to take part in previous CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk and this event offers the opportunity to show support for CRY, remember young people, raise funds and help raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death.
Any donation will go a long way to help fund the ongoing support for CRY and the Claire Prosser and Tom Clabburn Memorial Fund. For information about the fund and it's causes please go to: http://www.tomclabburnfund.co.uk/#
Thank you so much!
