Hi! I am an artist and calligrapher.  When I see someone’s face light up as soon as they get an unexpected surprise - often in the post - it gives me a lovely warm feeling!  Especially if it happens to be one of my own cards or an envelope that I have illustrated just for them!

      I am very aware that many children and young people in the UK today rarely get to feel the buzz and thrill that a special event or encounter can bring, or to have a lovely wish fulfilled, because they suffer with a critical illness and are often limited by their circumstances. If I can use my own artistic gifts to do something for them (however small) through Make-A-Wish UK, then I will!  I can also help others become more aware of these children’s lives and of how the charity Make-A-Wish UK works so hard to help them.
