As-salamu alaikum - May the peace and blessings of Allah be with you all
Hello Everyone
Thank you for taking the time out to visit my fundraising page.
This summer holidays - as I’m off duty, I thought I challenge myself to ‘aim higher!’ I will embark on an amazing challenge to climb Ben Nevis (UK’s highest Mountain) on bank holiday weekend, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th August 2019.
The aim of this trek is to raise money and help build two water wells for the poor and needy. I have committed to raise a minimum of £900 and I would like your support in reaching this target.
Unfortunately for millions of people around the world, getting
clean water isn’t just a case of turning on the tap. With your generous donations we can provide reliable access to clean water by building wells by supporting and sponsoring me with the 'Walk for Water'
challenge. With your help, we can bring clean water to less developed rural communities, (India, Bangladesh and Pakistan), giving them safe water for drinking, cooking and cleaning, water for their crops and animals and the chance to break
out of the poverty cycle. Together with improved hygiene, these basic human rights underpin health, education and livelihoods, forming
the first essential step in overcoming poverty.
Trek Ben Nevis is the highest peak in the UK. Did you know it takes an average of 4 hours to climb with a further 2-3 hours to climb back down?
The reward for this charitable act is beyond our imagination! Every pound counts! I would appreciate your generous contributions
and duas to help me fulfil this challenge. Insha’Allah
Donating through Just-giving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best charity is giving water to drink” and he was the most generous in giving charity.
Thank you for your kind donations.
May Allah swt make it easy for all participants and accept our
efforts and contributions.
JazakAllah Aneesa
