Story
WE DID IT!!
After 17 hours, 17 minutes and 17 seconds, my team mates 'The D.U.K.E..S' and I successfully crossed the English Channel from Dover. We battled the currents and tides which forced us to swim over 28 miles before landing on Sangatte Beach at 1:23am.
I will post the full story with all its twists and turns soon. In short, we didnt get an easy crossing, but WE DID IT!!
My I thank you all from the bottom of my trunks for your incredible support over the last year. We could not have done this without each and every one of you!!!

OK, I admit it ... I may be a little bit portly! So not only will swimming the English Channel as part of a relay team get me one step closer to achieving my ambition of one day swimming the entire channel in one go, I am also raising money in the process for a cause that could well affect a portly bloke like myself!
So, cheer me on and provide me with some extra motivation to train for this enormous task by giving whatever amount you can to this very worthy cause.
Think of me, covered generously in goose fat, ploughing through the choppy waters of the Channel, dodging ferries and fishing boats, and the odd jelly fish, swimming for all I'm worth for Diabetes UK.
Your support will be much appreciated!
