The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

The name's Andy, peeps. I'm here to let you know about a little something I'm going to do over the Easter Holidays... canoeing down the whole of the Thames over the course of seven/eight days. I've been planning this for nearly two years now, but I haven't had the chance to put forward the event until now, due to the GCSEs I've had to do last year (so yeah, I'm pretty young, 16).

The reason I'm doing it for the NAS (National Autistic Society) is because I myself, am autistic. Sure, I'm very independent, but people know I'm autistic from the way I speak. Over the years, I've overcome a load of obstacles to become the person I am now, and I'd like to be able to help others do the same. With enough money going to the NAS, you could help make a difference for the lives of people with autism.

Even a small donation of between a penny and £10,000 would be a great help.

Thanks. :-)
