We are a registered charity, working with children and young people with wide ranging disabilities. We work to develop confidence, independence, and social skills but mostly, to give our children the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, have fun and make friends.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

UPDATE: As we have reached £1000, as promised, Eamonn and I will race each other around Bootham playing field (a shorter 440m distance I'm told) on the last day of term, dressed as our favourite superheros of course!.

A year ago one of our colleagues at Bootham School (Carol Campbell) ran the first York marathon and inspired Eamonn and I to give it ago. So we both signed up thinking that a year was a long way away......

One year later and here we are. When considering who to raise money for, Dina at Bootham suggested SNAPPY. Being a local charity with links to Bootham through student volunteer work it seemed the perfect choice. SNAPPY does such valuable work with children who have special needs and your support will be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for donating.
