Cancer Research is a cause that's very close to my heart and others I know well. Running the marathon in London is a way to celebrate those we know who have battled this illness and the aggressive treatment they had, and also help those of us now and in the future that may well suffer too. Lets hope that we can beat some cancers and make others a lot more managable/treatable while helping people experience it with dignity.

I hate asking for money for sponsorship, so please don't feel obliged, i'll think no less of you, but if you're going to give any money to charity anyway this year, I'd be very greatful if you did it through this medium.
