Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running the Edinburgh half marathon on Sunday 22nd may in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The support they provide to both cancer patients and their families is paramount.
I decided to run for Macmillan Cancer Support after I lost my Dad to cancer in 2009. Having experienced first hand just how important the work they do is, I wanted to run the half marathon as a small token of thanks.
It seems nowadays that everyone has either been affected by cancer or knows of someone who has so it's important to ensure charities like Macmillan are supported to help them to continue the outstanding support they provide.
Please donate through JustGiving it's simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Macmillan Cancer Support and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate whatever you can!
Thanks, Andy
