Story
I started having my breakfast outside in late May of 2013 when the weather was really good. A great summer followed and I continued the routine even on the odd miserable day. I would put up Facebook statuses and people would say they thought I was mad for being outside on a damp wet morning. It sparked something in them to hear of me having my breakfast in the garden regardless of the weather. This led me to think about what it must be like to have to either live outside or to live in poor housing all year round.
Friends of mine were able to relate to my very temporary misery, so surely they would be able to relate to the relentless misery of living without a warm, dry and safe home.
I'm not asking for much, £1 on any miserable day would be brilliant, but even if it just gives you pause for thought the next time you see someone on the street, then my wet and cold breakfasts will have been more than worthwhile.
Every single breakfast from 15th September has been captured for all time on YouTube to prove my commitment. Some are dull but me and my family and some guests have made a few of them really very special indeed.
