When I was asked by Jon Burns, a very good friend of mine and founder of Lionsraw, to be on the board of trustees I didn't hesitate to accept.  For the first project, this summer, his plans for the 300 strong team of volunteers will make a big difference to children who are affected by poverty and infected or affected by the epidemic HIV/AIDS. All we need to do is raise the funds to pay for the construction expenses.  All the volunteers are self-funded and, as a trustee, I can guarantee that all the money I raise will go directly to the "bricks and mortar" costs of the various orphanage and school projects.
