Story

Thanks for visiting our Mud, Sweat & Tears JustGiving page!

Over the next six months we'll be participating in a variety of physical challenges and events, most being slightly unconventional. Our events are:

Summer Tough Guy (July 2011)

Total Warrior (August 2011)

Hellrunner: Hell up North (September 2011)

Harewood trail 10 miler (October 2011)

Leeds Abbey Dash 10 km (November 2011)

Hellrunner: Hell down South (November 2011)

Chevin Chase Fell Run (Boxing Day 2011)

Winter Tough Guy (January 2012)

Stair Climb at The Arts Tower, Sheffield (February 2012)

Orienteering 10km Challenge (February 2012)

Yorkshire Terrier Night Run (March 2012)

Sheffield Varsity 10km Run (March 2012)

World Coal Carrying Competition (April 2012)

Lake Windermere Marathon (May 2012)

Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge (June 2012)

The Spartan Race (August 2012)

We will also be 'bear- crawling' a 5km course. Should all these go well, we may keep adding to the events! Any ideas welcome!

You may consider that undertaking such challenges is a foolish endeavour, and you'll be right. However, it is a great opportunity to raise money for a local charity. We are supporting the Yorkshire Cancer Centre and their appeal to develop local research, facilities and treatments to ensure more people survive cancer (further information via the link on the left).

So please dig deep and donate whatever you can. The higher the donations, the greater the number of pictures will appear of us enjoying each challenge!

You can follow our progress by visiting our facebook of the same name (Mud, Sweat & Tears), our Twitter account (@YCC_Challenges) or Gary's blog (www.garybpt.wordpress.com). Watch out too for articles in the local/regional press.

Thank you for your support (and why not also join us for some or all of the events!)

Andy & Gary
