Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am running in the 2012 London Marathon to raise money for the Oxfordshire Injury Minimisation Programme for Schools (IMPS) This is a charity that provides training for school children to minimise and prevent injuries and every year many lives are saved as a result of what the children have been taught.
IT COULD BE YOUR LIFE.
Personally, I like the idea that on 22nd April 2012 the streets of London will be lined by many people who will be able to resuscitate a 40 something teacher as he tries to run 26 and a bit miles..please give generously.
To all my teaching colleagues - you know how important this scheme is, and what a great time the children have when they go to the IMPS sessions - they just love those plastered fingers! Lives ARE saved and injuries reduced through what they learn.
For any donations from individuals or schools over £50 I will run with your name prominently displayed - arms, legs, face, shirt, whatever. Really big donations might persuade me to look even more ridiculous than I normally look when running!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
