This will be the seventh annual charity event I've done, and this year I will be playing 9 holes of golf at each of the 7 golf courses in the High Peak - a total of 63 holes, all in one day. This will be on Friday 1st July 2016.

The High Peak Mountain Rescue teams provide a vital service for our area. Not only do they risk their lives - often in the worst of weather - to rescue people who get lost or injured while out in the hills, but they also help out in other ways too, such as helping ambulance teams when there's a lot of snow, or helping out in flood-hit areas, such as Cumbria and York this past Christmas.

An important thing to remember is that they are all volunteers, giving their time - at all times of the day and night - to help others in need. The Mountain Rescue teams are truly worthy causes, which I am proud to support, and which I hope you can support too.
