Story
Andy Watts has been walking around the UK Coastline since 2006. To mark the start of October Lupus Awareness Month, Andy completed the South West Coast Path section of his walking challenge. In addition, this year he has also achieved a total of 1,000 miles walked since starting his epic adventures.
Andy is raising money for the charity Lupus UK, and their regional group West Midlands Lupus Group (WMLG). Both of which have been extremely supportive to his partner Denise, who has S.L.E.
Andrew started his walking challenge at Deal in Kent, and throughout the years has walked continuous sections of the UK coast, (including the Isle of Wight). As he finished at Minehead this year, it marked a total of 1,000 miles walked over the years
On 1st October 2021, Andy completed the South West Coast path section of his continuous walk This section between Poole Harbour and Minehead is 630 miles long, and also involves climbing a total height of 115,000 feet (35024 m).
