We are powered by people. We’re here to find a cure and improve lives, together.

Story

I'm running the Bath Half Marathon on the 6th of March to raise money for Parkinson's UK. I, like many people know someone affected with Parkinson's disease, Parkinson's UK raise money to rund research into finding better treatments and ways to improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's, while also trying to find a cure, for which there is currently none.

Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. People with Parkinson's don't have enough of a chemical called dopamine due to nerve cells in their brain dying. This can have a drastic impact on day-to-day life with simple tasks becoming challenging ones, effecting the lives of the people with Parkinson's and their families.

Every little bit of money counts and makes a difference, so please donate!

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
