Firstly, thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!
On the 10th of June I will be running the St Albans Half Marathon in support of Survivors UK who do brilliant work helping male survivors of rape and sexual assault and their families.
Last year my world was turned upside down when I was assaulted. Luckily, through the support of my amazing family and friends, I have managed to come to terms with what happened to me. Some people are not lucky enough to have the support network I have and so I want to do everything I can in order to help those people. My recovery is still a daily struggle and I can only imagine how difficult it must be for those who have no support.
Please donate to this amazing cause, or even just share to raise awareness about this terrible crime that ruins people's lives everyday.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story.
SurvivorsUK helps men who’ve been raped, sexually abused or assaulted. Every year in the UK, around 12,000 men are raped and 76,000 sexually abused or assaulted. It isn’t easy for men to talk about what’s happened to them: only 4% will speak about it. Of the few who do, it takes an average of 26 years to do so. SurvivorsUK wants to challenge stereotypes and taboos that prevent men speaking about what’s happened to them. Our counselling, helpline and support services are here to help men deal with the devastating impact of rape and sexual abuse.
