As you may or may not be aware I was 40 this year (hard to believe I know), and by way of spreading the fun ;) throughout the year I have a list of 40 things that I'm working my way through... one of these is to cycle across England on the Coast 2 Coast route.

Along with my chum Howie, we plan to cycle from Whitehaven starting on October 1st, across some major mountain ranges, and through deep deep rivers to Sunderland in 3 days.

Obviously, I'm not just doing this for fun, I'm doing this to raise money for the pulmonary hypertension association - pha. Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a rare lung disorder in which the blood pressure in the pulmonary artery rises far above normal levels. The pha do a great job supporting people with this condition, and helping them and their families to lead a 'normal life.'
