Following the successful completion of my 1st Great North Run in 2009 I took up the offer of guaranteed place for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

So here go's my 2010 effort to prove that despite being in my 40th year I am still in good shape even though I am follically challenged.

Your support is greatly appreciated - last year with your help I raised £345 for the NSPCC to help protect children and young people from abuse and neglect.

I'll be delighted if I raise a further £300 this year - it will make all the effort worthwhile.
