Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Each year we sleep out to raise money for the DENS Day Centre which provides food, clothing, washing facilities, friendship, advice, support and training to people who are living on the very edge of society i.e. they are usually beyond accessing the council and social services and will die without this support.  Fortunately Big Lottery have agreed to fund 80% of the Day Centres needs for the next 5 years, the St. Albans Sleepout is to help raise the other 20%.  I could not express the need more effectively than to encourage you to watch the two short videos on www.DENS.org.uk

So please dig deep and donate now.  Thanks

Andrew
