Story
As most of you know not that long ago I was very overweight and drastically unfit. Over 18 months I lost 4 stone to a current level of 14 stone and decided to work on my fitness. Hands up who thought I'd take up running 😁 Well I'm guessing that was a low/zero result!! I started the Couch to 5K programme in June 2017 and graduated on 11th August, my Runniversary if you will! Since then I've carried on running by getting up early 3 times a week to run at least 5km with Parkrun on Saturdays a particular favourite.
To test my new found skills I've entered the 2018 City of Norwich half marathon and would like to use the occasion to raise a little cash for those good folks at Macmillan, I'll be wearing their green kit on the day with HUGGY on my chest! See below for their message.
Thank you in advance for your support, I'm dedicated to the training and looking forward to the challenge.
Best, Andrew
